Description
1984 Ford Bronco Engine was built by Strasburg Racing and was originally a 429 from a 1969 Thunderbird (the early blocks have stronger metal content). Block has been magnafluxed and stroked to a 529 with a 4.300 steel crank. Aluminum heads.
Roller cam and lifters. Big Dawg ceramic coated fender well headers. Deck was blocked and line honed. It was built for torque but has a great lopey idle. With the headers uncapped it was the loudest vehicle in the Cache Valley Cruise in a couple of years ago.
To many high performance parts to list here but I can send you a list. Rebuilt 5 speed ZF manual transmission, mileage is around 90000 but is not known for sure, no rust. The engine and transmission have about 3000 mi on them.
Autometer gauges. It has an Alpine stereo system with a 12 disc cd changer. It has a Garmin gps and a police scanner. I bought it in 1989 and it has been my project since then. It has been kept in the garage since 1989.
Heater and ac work great. As you can see by the photos it’s very clean and well kept. It’s not Chip Foose perfect but extremely nice. It also comes with a Skyler half cab soft top and a fitted Bronco cover.

Classic Ford Bronco Buyer's Guide
The Ford Bronco has lived through five distinct platform generations across thirty years of production, but the classic Bronco market splits cleanly into two eras: the "Early Bronco" (1966-1977) and the "Big Bronco" (1978-1996). The first generation has become the single fastest-appreciating American collector vehicle of the past decade, with documented original examples now trading for sums that rival muscle-car territory. I've spent two decades chronicling Ford's SUV history, and the build sheet tells the real story on every Bronco — what was originally optional, what was dealer-installed, and what has been added during the car's lifetime. This guide covers what separates a documented original Early Bronco from a creative "restomod" build sold as factory-original.
