Listing Description
1973 Buick Centurion Convertible. Only 5,739 convertibles produced in '73! Maroon color, 455 V8 engine, white interior, power top, power windows, power seat. owned the vehicle for 20 years, driven it for 17. It's sat in the garage for the last 3 years. . Known issues: Engine. The engine fired up like a dream 3 years ago. The engine has not been updated...still runs on gas with lead / lead substitute. It turns, but won't start, due to stale gas in the carb / tank. Electrical. The front end lights all stopped working at once. Convertible top. The power top is decent shape. No rips or tears, though there's a loose seam in one spot (see pics). It's definitely missing a cross / support bar that spans the width of the top, in the middle. Didn't stop the top from going up and down, and the top is tight enough it doesn't sag. But it's definitely not complete. Rear seat. The rear seat backrest has come apart on the side that attaches to the frame of the car. The seat-backing will need to be and the seat re-affixed to the frame. Body. There's some minor rust around the wheel wells -- worst of which is just forward of the rear driver side wheel -- and a decent sized dent in the right front quarter fore of the wheel well. See pics. Paint. Some pitting and spottiness / flaking in areas. Surely would benefit from a paint job. Brake lines. At least the front passenger brake line was chewed through by rodents. It will need to be replaced. Trunk & floor pans. Trunk pan, both front seat pans, and driver's side rear pans are solid. Passenger side rear pan is starting to go. Other notes. Parade boot (two pieces) and full size spare included.Trim: ConvertibleDoors: 2
