1953 Chevrolet 3800

1953 Cheverolet 3800 1-ton flatbed. This is a rare find. History as told to me is as follows: current owner is the fifth owner. First 30 years was spent on an orchard in Bend OR. The next three owners bought it to fix up and use in their business and never did anything. The fourth bought it for his son to use as a project at a local JC auto body program. His son decided not to go so he worked on it in his spare time in his garage. The body is very straight with a recent paint job of black primer. The interior is basically untouched including the original seat (still in good shape). New wiring harness. New carburetor and starter.  current owner put in a new head and valves, new large safer mirrors, plugs, distributor, rotor and cap, new spark plug wires, brakes and new clutch.  also had replaced that thing behind the fan that is attached to the crankshaft. The truck is 4-speed with a granny gear, it must have a real low rear end because top speed is roughly 45-50 mph. All six tires look like they have  at least 80% tread left. . The truck now has a permanent 'classic' license and will never have to be renewed.Doors: 2
