1972 Chevrolet C10

1972 CHEVROLET C10. It wasn’t until the late 60’s that trucks started to be cooler as rods then utilitarian. It started when they stuffed a 454 in an El Camino. This 1972 Chevy C-10 encompasses everything that the El Camino SS had and more.  With a fancy ass end, it proved to be useful and stylish making them more appealing to hot rodders because it reminded them of the bubble era with the large dome like fenders covering the rear wheels and a large intimidating truck front end that made the driver in front of you nervous when he saw that big grill in his rear view mirror. This truck has been freshened up recently. It has new paint and aftermarket wheels.  The bright work still has shine and the stainless is all in great shape.  The glass is clear and damage free.  The body is solid and the bed was replaced.  As we mentioned above, this truck was freshened up, it wasn’t restored.  So if you’re looking for concourse judging this vehicle may not be for you.  However, if you’re looking for a nice driver that would stand tall at any local show or cruise night, this would or could be the perfect fit. The interior was also freshened on an as needed basis and presents very well for what it is.  There are no cracks or rips and all the gauges function properly. Now here is where this truck really comes alive.  It is equipped with a 4 bolt main - 402 Big Block with some added performance parts including an aluminum intake and Edelbrock Carburetor.  It also had a TH400 automatic transmission that can roast up and cook the rear tires.
