1961 Chevrolet C20

1961 Chevy c20 Apache. The Apache model was only made from 1958 to 1962 with each year having a slightly different Hood. The Apache also came with a separate high beam light, where as the 1961 c20 has a single headlight for both high and low beam. This truck has the original inline 6 and transmission. Runs drive stops and was recently started in the negative degree weather we had last month. The original bench seat has been removed and two captains chairs have been added. This is an old tow truck. And has hydraulics inside the cab for a fully functioning winch. All original glass from factory still in place. The front windshield does have a crack in it but hey it\'s 61 years old and it\'s still watertight. I just drove this truck on the highway a few days ago at 65 miles an hour with no problem. Excellent rubber and aftermarket rims make this truck turn key and ready for work or play. This truck gets a lot of attention. There is an old excavator horn and a red security on the top. I would go down to the dollar store and fill up a helium tank and Ran a hose from the tank to the horn for an awesome retro sound! *I have always added a lead additive to/for the fuel due to age of motor and it continues to be a work horse. *Clean Colorado title in my name.
