1966 Chevrolet Corvair

1966 Chevrolet Corvair 500 Older restoration but she is very pretty and all together and runs and drives fine. 78000 original miles. Red Coupe hard top. 4 speed in the floor. Alum block, flat 6, air cooled, rear engined, rear drive. The good: Its got a brand new clutch plate, fly wheel, pressure plate, input output shaft seal, throwout bearing, and newly rebuilt starter including nose cone. New belt and spare in the trunk. It gets over 20 miles to the gallon and the heater is all hooked up and works great. Brand new emergency brake cable. Most everything works like it is supposed to including little stuff like the dome light and such. Has bluetooth cd am fm usb aux radio with 2 removable 6x9 speakers in a false board in the back so you could take it out to make it look original for a show or something. and the original 5 inch center dash speaker. Comes with car cover. The bad: the speedo is off by about 5 mph and bounces... probably needs a new gear or cable but... it works ok for me. A few imperfections in the paint, driven a lot she isn't a trailer queen.. Chrome is all there but like old chrome does its got spider webbing in it. Also it is probably due for an alignment. Its a solid car, kept it in a pop up garage on pavement (not a car port, it has all four sides) never drove it in the rain etc,tried to keep it from going south.
