Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1969 Dodge Charger Daytona mopar. This is a nice straight, fun car. I get people all over it every time I drive it. The cars history is it started life as big block 68 charger. Has had a quality fiberglass Daytona conversion kit installed. Restored by a quality winged warrior resto's built the metal headlight assembly, metal wind supports, and stainless A pillar mouldings. A new Cheetah pump was installed, but not quite enough to operate headlights 100%, needs an additional pump or have to prop to keep them opened all the way. It has the original 383 rebuilt, 727 rebuilt, 8.75 rear with 3:73 gears rebuilt. Rims redone, new tires, new exhaust, new disc brakes in front, radiator recored, almost everything new for drivetrain. All interior has been redone: seats recovered, new seat belts, new carpet, new headliner, new dash pad, new lower door panels, ect. New Vintage air system installed, but still working out the bugs. As for the body: solid car, original metal with the exception of rear valance, rear frame rails professionally capped, some filler in the quarters, original vinyl top, original trunk floor, 70 fiberglass fenders, 70 steel hood. New rechromed rear bumper. The wing is signed by Richard Petty, and latch tray signed by Bruce Larson. Richard invited the previous owner down to the Richard Petty experience and was able to run this car on the track 139 mph. Previous owner had all the work done to this car and lots of love applied. It made inside a couple magazines, and has won some cars shows. All receipts go with the car.Doors: 2
