1971 Dodge Dart

1971 Dodge Dart Swinger survivor 2 owner with 69k original miles. Obtained this car from the friend of the original owner. This car was purchased new in 1971 by a career Military Marine and mostly sat in the garage on base. It has the optional 225 Slant 6 engine, power steering, and factory air conditioning. It starts runs and drive like a clock. It is a totally number matching engine /Transmission/ Differential with only 69,000 documented original miles. Very very nice original black interior with the factory optional steering wheel. Starts and runs excellent. Starts 1st click and idles down when warm. Mechanically the only issue is it does have an exhaust leak that goes away when warm. Probably the manifold seal. Looked on Slant 6 forum and seems common. Original roof is peeling, included in sale new black correct vinyl roof. It has the original jack, trunk divider, and spare. Drives like a solid super clean original paint car would. Drive it anywhere. Recently maintenance performed including filters and new battery. As far as the body it does have some parking dings, minor rust bubbles in rear mud flap splash area only, and chips that would be associated with a classic all original paint car. Documentation, have all the good stuff. The original owners manual, original window sticker; original build sheet, Dealer purchase order form and the cancelled check form. This car also has the original fender tag and firewall paint marking. Documentation is really cool and a value adders to have on a 1971 Dodge survivor level car. Car could easily go in the Mopar survivor tent at the Mopar shows. Title with actual 69k miles.
