1948 Ford Deluxe

1948 Ford Coupe. All the gauges except the fuel gauge are working. I tested it, and it is good, so, has to be the sending unit, the heater blower works also!* 99 % rust free 67K original mile 48 Ford coupe. This car sat in a garage for 20 years, then a warehouse for 25 more years, the guy I got it from used to work for the original owner of the car, till he passed away. There is no rust in the floors, trunk, frame, or body, there is one spot below the lower left side of the grille trim piece about the size of a fingernail, this car has to be seen to be believed! It can be a daily driver, there are a lot of Tudors around, but hardly any coupes, and the ones that are out there, have been butchered, The flathead sounds like a new engine, the column shifter feels like new, the guy I got it from had the interior redone, and had a new headliner put in. not original upholstery, but era correct, and close. The only deviation from stock is a 12 volt alternator conversion. He did new brakes all around, and master cylinder, removed, cleaned and sealed the tank, and installed a new sending unit. It comes with a brand new set of bumpers still wrapped up, along with another steering box, this one has some play in it, I plan on seeing if it will adjust out. The car was put in primer about 25 years ago, but never painted, it is a deep burgundy color in the jambs, and underside of trunk. It still has single exhaust, chocking down all that mighty, hairy Flathead muscle!! This is one cool car!Doors: 2
