1954 Ford F-100

1954 FORD F-100 DELUXE 1/2 TON. This pickup truck was purchased from the original owner in Portland, Oregon in June 2015. The truck was completely restored from the ground up and has the original 223ci 3.7L Straight 6 engine also known as the 'Mileage Maker' that FORD released that year which contained 120HP. Three speed manual transmission on the 'tree'. Wiring harness updated from 6 to 12 volt including a new distributor. Ring pinion gear updated in order to reach speeds of up to 60mph. The truck has an updated disc brake assembly in the front including a drop axle to improve stance and drive maneuverability. Body sanded down to the metal then repainted in its original DOVE tone grey color released by ford in the 1950 era. All moldings, emblems and interior handles replaced and/or restored. Bed wood has been re-sanded and refinished with yellow summer stain and clear coat to protect finish. Headlights/daytime lights replaced with LED conversion to reduce head output. Truck has 15 inch steelie chrome wheels wrapped in Grand AM Radial tires with 90% tread left. This truck is garage kept and has not seen a rainy day as of yet. Serious buyers only please.
