Listing Description
1965 Ford F100 Built June 1965 in Norfolk VA . Was factory 352 with a 3spd manual transmission . It\'s a orginal marlin blue and Wimbledon white paint scheme truck (rare) Truck is a local truck since new. The Truck was bought by my friends father in 1969 (two owner truck)My friend runs a body shop that his father started back in the late 60s . The 65 was used by the family and as a shop truck until it was slowly phased out and stored in the body shop. I purchased the truck and started getting it ready for the road. Heres whats been done: Fuel tank removed and pressure washed with hot Water and purple power degreaser. Fuel lines cleaned with carburetor cleaner. The carb is a 4150 Holley dual line. It was rebuilt last month 319.00 I got the receipt for it (never paid so much in my life) I disassembled the engine compartment for cleaning and painting . Both engine and engine bay was cleaned , sanded, and painted then reassembled. Replaced the heater hoses. I washed the truck using a mr clean magic eraser. The white paint is really showing age and is pitted and cracked, I cleaned it with alcohol and scrubbed it with a brush to get any debris and oil off. Then clear coated it in a satin finish. I just got a new set of 235/75/15 Tires put on it last week. When I purchased the truck lots of updates Had already been done. 1969 351 Windsor, mounted to a 4spd transmission. The brakes were upgraded to disc in the front. The power steering was updated along with the ignition. I cleaned up the interior and dyed the vinyl floor back black. The truck is in very good old orginal condition, it has the look , I\'ve spent years collecting and restoring and \'The Look\' is hard to come by . Besides the filler pulling off on the bed and door, it would be perfect. I\'m thinking this truck was probably bought dented and fixed since he had a body shop. I looked and looked on the backside of the metal on the bed, there\'s no rust.Body Style: PickupDoors: 2
