Listing Description

1966 Ford F100, 352 FE 4 speed. 67,081 orig mi. Orig paint. If an original and unmodified vintage truck is what you\'re looking for then please read on. This truck was purchased from a close friend of the previous owner who passed away. This was his pride and joy for decades. The body is way above average but the RF fender has been banged up. As far as rust goes there\'s a spot on the LF and that\'s it on the outside of the body. There are s couple spots on the underside but nothing major. Under the hood is the original 352 engine with all of its factory equipment and id tags in place including the 1966 oil bath air cleaner. The engine runs great. Its smooth, quiet and very torquey. I media blasted the wheels, and they used a 2 part epoxy paint. Tires are 235/75/15 all season and are excellent. One non original part are the 1954 caps instead of the argent painted 66 caps, which I have. The paint is thin in some areas, scraped up and dinged but never repaired. It is the very paint job that some assembly line worker sprayed on in fall of 1965. One unique feature of this truck is Dana 60 posi rear axle. The 6 digit DSO of 510030 means this was 30th special ordered truck from the Denver Colorado sales district. This also has a heavier than standard GVW and then aftermarket rear coil over shocks on top of that. It\'s a sturdy work truck. The doors close with wonderful solid click. This is one of the nicest vintage truck I\'ve owned.
