1958 Ford Fairlane 500

1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner Retractable (Hide-Away) Hardtop -- Ford only made these cars for three years (1957, 1958, & 1959). All three versions had slight differences. In 1958 Ford added dual headlights and used the 1958 Thunderbird style grill which makes the 1958 version highly unique. Everyone seems to love it and it is really fun to drive! The tires are Hankook Radials P215/75R14 with very little tread wear. I have a brand new jack, 4-way lug wrench, and fire extinguisher that go with the car. Comes with both sets of fender skirts (small ones seen in the pictures and large, over-the-quarter panel style). The large fender skirts are fiberglass. Also included a new 1958 Ford Car Shop Manual, new 1958 Ford Owner's Manual, and MAC's Auto Parts 1949-1959 Ford Parts Catalog. I have purchased, but not yet installed all of $ 2,000 of new parts which includes a new carb, defroster vent deflector, antenna, new style radio designed to fit into the existing dash mount, 5 seatbelts, new speaker designed to fit in dash, new wiper blade arms, new side mirrors, and some other miscellaneous items. I also purchased a luggage tub for the trunk. This Skyliner is not perfect, but it has a lot going for it -- great body, frame, chrome, glass, nice interior with vinyl seat covers, and it runs and drives!Trim: SunlinerDoors: 2
