Listing Description
1969 Ford Galaxie XL GT Convertible - Supercharged 545
This car can draw crowds at shows as it is a truly unique sleeper. The panels are straight with gorgeous paint and a fresh engine has been installed.
The 545 cu in motor breathes through John Kaase P-51 aluminum heads. Inside is a forged crankshaft and 9:1 forged pistons. A Comp Cams .647 lift roller cam and high stall converter keep it all in harmony. Two Paxton superchargers complement the already powerful engine. Dual hydraulically actuated exhaust cutouts are available to open up the true potential of the power plant at the push of a button. The newly rebuilt traction lock comes with 3.50 gears (spares of various ratios are included).
The suspension has been upgraded with polyurethane bushings and performance sway bars front and back. Some NOS chrome has been installed and there are spare parts including 429 engine components, transmission, trim, interior parts etc. (too many to list). The hard-to-find factory mag wheel covers are mint NOS.
I've had this car since 1976 and here is your opportunity to have a car that clearly stands out from the ordinary.
The price is $29,500 CDN ($22,200 USD).
