1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Mustang I have owned since 2001. It was an original California car and has been garage kept since I bought it in 2001. It has never been driven with salt on the roads. It is a restomod/street machine that has been used but not abused. Key features include: 1988 CA mass air 5.0 EFI engine and computer (rebuilt from short block up) GT40X heads Cobra intake 1994 Cobra T5 transmission Ford rating heavy duty clutch Ford aluminum roller tip needle bearing rocker arms Pro m air meter, 75mm 65mm Throttle body E303 cam 24# injectors Pro street harmonic balancer Ron Morris Performance clutch cable kit 1980 Lincoln Versailles (9”) rear end (slightly shortened) with disc brakes and Detroit Trutrac (3.70). 1977 Granda spindles and disc brakes Total Control strut rods Dr. Gas X pipe and hooker mufflers Procar Rally seats by Scat (good side bolsters) Roll cage has removable cross bar with Simpson 4 point harness installed. (Anti submarine belt not installed) Progressive front coils (does rub a bit as I cut off too much coil during fit), I do have Mustangs Plus 620 coils I originally had in the car. They are in great shape, I was just experimenting trying to find the best coils for open track, autocross, and street driving (an impossible mission). Negative wedge kit, allows for greater negative camber 5 leaf reverse eye leaf springs from Mustangs Plus Alpine stereo, with front and rear speakers Battery in trunk. Vintage 45 - 16” wheels 225/50/16 front 245/50/16 rear - BFG KDW Car has been at Nor Cal Shelby Club open track events at Sears Point (Infineon) and Thunderhill racetracks. It has also seen some autocross in the ESP category. I have some miscellaneous parts, factory service manual, wiring diagrams, bearing part numbers, receipts, and some small tools to throw in. I call it a 10 foot paint job, as it has a few blemishes here and there. It needs new trunk seal as exhaust can back flow into it.
