VERY ORIGINAL 1966 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE #S MATCHING C-CODE 289 V8 WITH 84K ORIGINAL MILES. WELL OPTIONED AND TURN-KEY SURVIVOR! Motor was tuned up, timing set. Transmission was recently completely rebuilt (with receipts), new tires, brakes checked, etc. You can get in and drive this car! Starts right up, idles great, good brakes and steers well. Body is VERY NICE and STRAIGHT with ALL ORIGINAL BODY PANELS. Paint was heavily faded and and weathered, so I had a local shop lightly wetsand, buff and reclear the whole car to preserve the patina. Looks great from 15-20 feet, up close you can see the imperfections of course. Interior is ORIGINAL and very nice, car only has 84k original miles. Normal wear but shows nicely for a driver. Convertible top needs new canvas. Underside is SOLID with EXCELLENT frame rails, SOLID floorboards and GOOD torque boxes and EXCELLENT shock towers. . Not perfect but shows very nicely. Overall a very presentable looking everyday driver, with some nice options, low original miles and great eye-appeal, priced thousands less than the next similar convertible.
