Listing Description

1966 White Ford Mustang Coupe Why This Vehicle is Special The introduction of the Mustang in 1964 created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others. The 1966 White Mustang Coupe we have here at Skyway Classics is a C Code Engine that came with a 289 Cubic Inch engine and the whole car looks even better with the mag wheels, 5-speed transmission, and racing stripes. Features 1966 White Ford Mustang Coupe 289 Cubic Inch engine 5-speed manual transmission Ford blue paint on the engine block and heads Aluminum intake Holley performance carb Chrome valve covers Chrome open element air cleaner assembly Custom radiator Modified electronics, distributor, and blue spark plug wires Clean and detailed engine compartment Interior has been refreshed twin Mustang blue vinyl buckets Matching rear seat, dash, and door panels 5-speed manual transmission on the floor Mustang sport steering wheel Instrument panel correct factory gauges 140 mph speedometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials Radio Mustang wears the white paint job Full length blue racing stripes Shelby hood scoop Blacked out front grille Unique fuel filler cap Dual exhaust Five-spoke aftermarket alloy wheels Black sidewall performance tire Mechanical The engine we are told is a 289 cubic inch V8 that put out 200 horsepower from the factory and this one will have more. It has the Ford blue paint on the engine block and heads, an aluminum intake, Holley performance carb, chrome valve covers, and chrome open element air cleaner assembly. It does have a custom radiator, modified electronics, distributor, and blue spark plug wires, and it sits in the clean and detailed engine compartment. Interior The interior has been refreshed and is all as it was when it was factory original. It has the twin Mustang blue vinyl buckets up front and the matching rear seat, dash, and door panels, plus the 5-speed manual transmission on the floor. You will like the white Mustang sport steering wheel, instrument panel that has all the correct factory gauges, and features a 140 mph speedometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials, and the radio. Exterior On the outside, our Mustang wears the white paint job flowing over all the iconic body lines and accented by the full length blue racing stripes from the front end all the way over the top to the rear end. It has a Shelby hood scoop, the blacked out front grille, and out back the unique fuel filler cap on the panel between the tail lamps, with dual exhaust exiting underneath. Our Mustang rides on the five-spoke aftermarket alloy wheels on black sidewall performance tires that makes this wheel and tire combination totally fitting on this classic pony car, and combined with the square set body, they give this Mustang a stance that is just magnificent. Conclusion The 1966 White Mustang C Code Engine Coupe we have here at Skyway Classics has great looks, outstanding performance, and these coupes have become as collectable as any other car, and probably more so in the future.
