1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Restomod. Beautiful new two stage paint in an original Mustang color of Forest Highland Green. With 15 inch Torque Thrust Rims 'Bullet Mustang' look that will turn heads. The BFG Radial T/As tires are in great shape with about 75% of tread left. left. Mileage on speedo, which has been replaced, indicates 51,000 miles. Modified 289 engine is a 1968 block and horsepower is estimated at around 325 HP. Engine short block has an estimated 25K miles on it since it was completely overhauled including balance and blueprinting. The block is bored .030 over with TRW forged pistons and ARP rod bolts. This engine was recently refreshed a few years and about 3K miles ago when pulled it from another Mustang. Work done recently includes a new timing chain and timing cover, new oil pump, fuel pump and water pump. The ported cylinder heads have screw in studs and guide plates and were also redone with new exhaust valves, guides, steel roller rocker arms and new head gaskets. Cam is a hydraulic street performance from Summit Racing. Intake manifold is a Ford Performance aluminum high rise topped with a Edelbrock 600 CFM 4 barrel carb, ignition is Mallory unilite distributor and MSD ignition box. Also has a road racing style 7 quart steel oil pan and aluminum Cobra valve covers. New high capacity aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan keeps cool even with the A/C running. Shorty Headman headers, new custom exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers and x-pipe, exhaust sounds great. This engine starts right up, runs smooth, uses no oil and pulls hard.
