Listing Description

1968 Ford Mustang Coupe Restored For Sale Strong running original rebuilt 289 ci V8 Engine 3-Speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly I bought this Mustang from a private seller in Woodstock earlier in the year & have restored it to its current condition. Previous owner was an engine builder and hobbyist. He rebuilt this car's original 289ci to spec and added a Holley 4 barrel carburetor. It starts up every time with the slightest flick of the key. Prior to my registration, the vehicle had a clean California title & after 50+ years, the floor-pan, frame etc… has very little to no rust at all. We agreed on a price and I drove it 1 hour home without issue. It drives as straight as an arrow. The car was in need of an interior and exterior restoration, which I've sorted out with period correct parts. Everything works as it should. I have pictures and receipts & would be happy to explain every decision and purchase (should you be a serious buyer). Pricing was solely based on current NADA statistics: I'd consider the vehicle to be Average or a little above Average. What keeps this car from being in the top tier is that it needs: A/C, Power Steering, and Disc Brakes. I am considering doing those updates but will wait about a month for cash flow purposes. Bought brand new 17x7 and 17x8 VN501 wheels with brand new General tires. 225 and 235 respectively. LED lighting and all gauges work as intended As reasonable as I am, I will stay pretty firm on the price because the car is really well sorted, with a healthy engine, body and frame. The play to reach a higher tier with the aforementioned upgrades is still something I am keeping on the table. 93,400 Miles A great opportunity to own a restored 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe that will turn heads where ever you decide to go… For Sale by owner, and located in the Atlanta area, GA Trim: Coupe For SaleBody Style: CoupeCondition: UsedCertified: 0Fuel Type: GasolineOptions: Vinyl Interior Surface
