1969 Ford Mustang
Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1969 Mach 1. This car is a driver. I was planning to sell in the spring/summer but I figured I\'d test the water now. Car was built in San Jose and originally came with a 351W 2 barrel and FMX transmission. Car is Candy Apple Red which was the original color. I have the Marti report. I also have a new set of Magnum 500 rims I can sell/include. Interior: Interior is in good condition. I just completed a dash overhaul last year. Removed and polished the gauge plastics. Quartz clock. New dash pad, bezels, stereo (older look but digital), etc. Painted the metal dash parts. Carpet and seats recently replaced. I am currently rebuilding the seatbelts. Engine: The engine was upgraded to a 351 Cleveland (D2AE-CA 2J 13) by the previous owner. Previous owner stated that the engine had head work and a cam and was pushing 400hp on a bench. I don\'t have the paperwork to confirm that though. Trans was upgraded to a C6 with increased stall. Open rear diff. Upgraded MSD ignition, coil and distributor. The motor was originally a 2 barrel which was upgraded to 4 barrel with the Edelbrock Performer intake and 600cfm carb. My only gripe about the car is that the motor and engine bay could be refreshed. Headers and exhaust. All of the glass is original to the car and shows its age. No chips in the windshield. Windshield does drip slightly due to the original seals. All rust was professionally removed and new steel was welded in a while ago so no rust.
