Listing Description

1957 Ford Thunderbird (Both Hard & Soft Tops Included) Colonial White Exterior with matching hardtop. Black/White Leather Interior This vehicle started as a California rust-free \'loaded\' car that underwent a meticulous frame-off restoration at Hills Classic Car Restoration (T-bird Specialists) in Ohio often compared to Amos Minter for the high quality of their restorations. This is a literal concourse-quality car with no signs of rust, collision or missing parts. It has been thoroughly enjoyed by the same owner for over 16 years having only put 4900 miles on this gem up to the point of this sale which is part of a down-sizing effort for a move. As you contemplate your next T-bird purchase, please consider the merits of this highly restored example. One cannot find a more accurate/complete example or restore one for less than the asking price. OPTIONS: PS, PB, PW, PL, Dial-a-matic Electric Seat, Automatic Transmission, 312 V8 (4BBL Carb) (D-Code) NON-original upgrades: Front Disc Brakes (old brakes & hardware have been retained and are included for the purist), Halogen Headlights, Auxiliary 8-blade cooling fan, Aftermarket-AC (works great!) EXTERIOR: Colonial White Exterior is 2-stage base/clear and done to a show-quality standard in all respects. The panel alignment is perfect without exception. All the trim is complete including the winter \'block-off\' plate stowed in the trunk. All glass is undamaged/blemish-free. All brightwork is correctly in place and beautiful. Of particular note the doors that are famously lacking alignment on these tri-five baby birds are PERFECT fitment during this restoration. A matching hardtop of high quality color match is included with its stand. The headliner for it is expectedly immaculate. The soft top is of the Hartz-cloth variety in like-new condition. INTERIOR: Except for the carpet, the seats and door cards are all original to this car and in excellent condition. The dash is not split. The instrument gauges are not faded.Trim: ConvertibleBody Style: ConvertibleDoors: 2
