1959 Ford Thunderbird

1959 Ford Thunderbird “square Bird” in excellent condition. This car was restored in 2001 and 2002 then parked in a garage for the past 17 years. Purchased as a barn find and I spent the past year getting it running, it needed many new parts including new gas tank, fuel lines, brake lines, new electric window motors, ignition, fuel pump and carberator. The heads were removed before attempting to start the 352 motor. We found that the motor has been rebuilt and bored 30 thousands over. Motor was very clean and now runs and drives excellent. I have taken it to several local car shows this summer and it shows very well. Have receipts for over 12k spent not including body and paint job or engine rebuild. Very nice driver with 2 sets of wheels and new Coker wide white walls as well as wire wheels and radial tires shown. Needs a few items to finish such as gas guage not working as well as radio comes on but not working. Nice interior and now driving it regularly very nice custom pin striping just finished. I would like to keep it but have 5 more cars and not enough room.
