1966 Ford Thunderbird

1966 Ford Thunderbird Coupe Original - Code Correct - Thunderbird Coupe Hardtop. Very Clean. No Rust. No bondo. This vehicle has never been in a collision. Original Transmission completely rebuilt 3,000 miles ago. Original 390 FE, 4V, has been lightly 'refreshed,' new gaskets and seals, etc.. smooth and quiet. No smoke - Does Not burn oil. Everything under the hood is original or replaced with code correct Ford parts. Brakes are in excellent condition. Replaced brake master cylinder and vacuum booster last November. Has brand new Goodyear tires and new rear shocks. Original Power steering pump professionally rebuilt and lines replaced recently because seals were leaking. Original radiator has been replaced with a new high flow aluminum radiator. All lights, gauges, speedometer, vent levers, heat / defrost / fan controls, rear vent, radio, windows (except passenger side wing window) work smoothly and as designed. Trunk is clean. Has code correct spare tire and original jack / lug wrench from 1966. The interior is beautiful and it is original, the door panels and front seats show normal wear for 51 years. Drivers side door panel has a small tear at the arm rest, which is covered with red plastic tape. There is a very slight indentation on the exterior passenger door. The rear taillights housings, gaskets, bulbs, and drivers side lens were restored last month. All 11 (9 taillight/turn and 2 reverse light) bulbs work. What it Needs: Dash clock works but stops after a minute or two; Seats are original and could use new foam; Heater core leaks and has been bypassed; Sequential turn signals work but are temperamental. They blink, but not always sequentially. Still has original electro-mechanical switch, which works; however the contacts need to be cleaned or the original unit replaced with a new electronic control unit.
