1968 Ford Thunderbird

1968 Ford Thunderbird, 2 dr. hardtop, street strip car. 65,000 actual miles. Original black, vinyl top in great condition. Black leather interior in good shape with factory T-Bird floor mats, front and back. Whimbleton white exterior. Some rust in rear quarters but in good shape. Original 429 C.I. engine, original C-6 auto trans. Engine in good shape; compression checks good, each cylinder per book specs. Uses no oil. Timing chain was loose some, replaced with comp. cams. Double roller chain and gears. Hooker headers, Weiand high rise aluminum manifold with 750 holley double pumper H.D. carb. New radiator and master cyl. Rebuilt trans with 3,000 stall speed dynamic torque converter. New drive shaft and new traction loc 3rd member 3.70 ratio. Best quarter mile time 14:30 seconds and 93.13 MPH. I have original parts for car. Drive shaft 2.80 rear 3rd member, exhaust manifolds and 4 barrel cast iron intake, 2 extra new tires mounted on original wheels. Center line rear wheels with Mickey Thompson street strip tires on car. Engine never rev'd over 5,000 RPM. Drives fine, NO power steering installed. Clear title.Doors: 2
