Listing Description

1953 GMC 100 Pickup. Just finished up this old GMC. Spent about two years building this Truck, it\'s been a lot of fun. This Truck came out of Texas about five years ago. Obtained it only a couple of years ago as a basket case. The C10 front stub had been installed but everything else, we had finished up. Our goal was to build a fun Truck that wasn\'t going to break the bank and wasn\'t going to break our hearts if something happened to it. The cab of the truck is fairly solid. There are some pin holes in areas of the floor and within the drivers side cab corner. Outside of that, the Truck is real solid. That brown is what the Truck came to us in and it appears to have been on there for quite some time if not from the factory. Did black out the grill and the emblems but kept the one on the tail gate. Also installed one new side window and a new windshield. The 350 engine that is in this Truck is in excellent working order. We just finished installing it about a month ago. Haven\'t put but maybe 20 miles on it so far. It has an Edelbrock four barrel that sits on a Holley intake. It is tuned up nicely and sounds great which is due largely in part to the dual exhaust that we turned downside under the bed. The 400 Turbo transmission shifts smoothly with out any issues. The disc brake setup works very well. The Truck has all new wiring from the front to the back. Within the interior, we redid the bench seat, moved the shifter to the floor, and kept most of the original components. Kept the original door panels. You can enjoy this Truck now while continuing to take it to the next level. Would recommend changing out the original gauges, putting a better set of tires on it, and new window felts.
