1969 Jaguar E-Type

1969 Jaguar E-Type Roadster. This car was in the process of being restored and all what was needed was paint and some assembly after the painting was done. NEW or RECONDITIONED parts installed: Rebuilt Engine Rebuilt Gearbox Gas tank professionally cleaned and painted Cooling system inc water pump and hose Clutch inc master cylinder, slave cylinder and fluid reservoir Brake Servo inc master cylinder, fluid reservoir and heat shield Carbs/Fuel Pump/Fuel level sending unit Electrical harnesses (3) - Main Harness, Dash harness, Alternator harness Alternator & Heat Shield/Fan Motors/Starter Motor Mufflers(2)/Exhaust heat shield The floors were replaced and I can see no evidence of rust. The windscreen is new and not installed in anticipation of painting the car. The windscreen chrome is included with a new top chrome piece. New wiper blades&arms,new mirror. A box full of misc. rubber seals is included. The convertible top is in excellent shape, appears unused, and is (I think) Stayfast. A modern radio and speakers are included. All the chrome, including the bumpers, is in excellent condition. This is a matching number car: Car# 1R 8595, Engine# 7R 2446-9, Body# 4R 2726. The paint is in poor condition, some of the lights are not hooked up, again in anticipation of the car being painted. A carpet set will be required. The car starts, runs and stops but obviously cannot be driven on a public road as is. It is hard to start when cold, probably due to relatively old gas. Most likely the mileage shown on the odometer is not the actual mileage .
