Listing Description

1967 Jaguar S-Type 4dr Sedan was purchased 26 years ago. The original 3.8-liter DOHC inline-six has since been rebuilt and reinstalled. It is coupled to the original automatic transmission. The car was also repainted and reupholstered in the original color combination. Just 2k miles have been added since the engine rebuild, and work performed a few months ago included a new battery, new brake pads, and an oil change. This S-Type wears collectors plates and is now being offered with a clean title. Finished in the correct shade of Willow Green, the body was stripped and received rust repair before a repaint was performed. The passenger door has a large key scratch, and a small amount of corrosion is visible behind the rear bumper in the photos. There are two chrome wire wheels and two steel wire wheels that wear Michelin red stripe tires plus two extra wire wheels. Note the shocks will need replacing soon. The interior is leather upholstery in the original color with burled walnut trim and a non working period Blaupunkt radio. The seats have been reupholstered and the ignition button replaced. The tachometer is inoperable. 16,806 miles are shown on the odometer, but true mileage is unknown. The factory 3.8-liter DOHC inline-six has been rebuilt and reinstalled, and 2k miles have since been added. September 2018 work included a new battery,
 Rebuilt brakes, an oil change
, and a fuel system inspection
. Receipts can be provided for much of the work performed, and the BorgWarner automatic transmission has a very slight leak. I think it is a rubber seal. I add less than a quart in a year.
