1964 Mercury Comet

1964 Mercury Comet Caliente with a 302 V-8 that someone put into it along the course of its life. 95% complete, missing the key to the trunk lock. Rust on the driver drip-line is worse than passenger side, bubbling on bottom of fenders and doors. One hole on bottom in engine bay, which is on passenger side in front of floorboards as noted in picture. Shock absorber towers in engine bay are solid . Undercarriage strong . Motor runs smooth, power steering works and the car drives. Needs brake work (probably master cylinder, bleed, wheel cylinders). This car has true dual exhaust and sounds like a Harley at idle. No B-pillar so that when windows are down, it is one big opening, classic look. Would be great for father-son, maybe a show car or race car, or restore it .
