1951 Mercury Eight

1951 Mercury \'Eight\'. It’s a four door sedan with ‘suicide’ read doors. 30,200 miles. It comes with Air Conditioning; power steering; power brakes; automatic transmission; new Alpine Stereo and speakers (with Bluetooth). The powertrain is a Edelbrock crate 350 engine with and automatic 350 turbo transmission. Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with a brand new electric fuel pump. Starts right up all the time. The engine has an extra coolant/water reservoir to keep her cool on hot days, and a Mooneyes recovery tank. It also has a manual or automatic electric radiator fan. The tires have about 90% tread left. It has 1948 Lincoln push button door openers. There’s an electric cut off switch in the trunk. Leather upholstery and the headliner is in excellent condition..leather kick panels and leather rear table. Carpeting is great. The fuel gauge needs to be fixed. It works 50% of the time. I use the adjustable odometer gage to determine fuel consumption. All other gauges work perfectly. Real clean undercarriage. She drives and shifts very well. She’s a real head turner!!. I’m selling the ‘Merk’ because I’ve had her for 6 years, and it’s just to time to move on to other hobbies. The tags are current (to May 2022).
