Listing Description

Check out this 1952 Ford Mercury M3 5 star cab pickup truck. This is an unrestored barn find truck. Ran by the original Flathead V8 engine that turns freely, with a manual transmission. 1952 Mercury M3 5 Star Cab Pickup Truck. This is a deluxe Cab with chrome trim around the windshield and vent windows. Also it has two-tone interior and armrests. It has a very solid body, it is mostly rust free with no repairs or bondo. All of the paint is original, this truck has had zero bodywork done to it. The floorboards are very good. The cab corners are excellent. The front fenders where these trucks are prone to rust are very solid, the best i\'ve seen. The wooden bed floor is mostly gone. All Mercury emblems are present and in nice condition. There are very few dents for an un-restored farm truck of this age, it is nice and straight. Overall this is a very good all original example of a highly sought after 1952 Mercury truck. The original paint and very solid body gives this truck a nice barn find patina look. This truck rolls and steers freely for easy loading onto a trailer or moving into a shop. All tires hold air. The original flathead V8 turns freely and should run with little work. Due to the much smaller Canadian market, Ford of Canada only sold approximately one tenth as many trucks as Ford did in the US and around two thirds of those were Ford\'s leaving the remaining third to be Mercury\'s. So very few of these trucks were produced and it is becoming much harder for us to source nice original and complete examples such as this. Due to Canada\'s harsh climate only a handful remain today. This will make a great project being that it is a rare and highly desirable model year truck with the deluxe 5 Star Cab trim and has minimal rust to contend with compared to most others.
