Attention British Antique Car Enthusiasts!\r\n\r\n1973 MG - MGB Convertible – Fire Engine Red with Chrome bumpers & Accents (Located in Calgary, Alberta)\r\n\r\nMileage: 72,401 Original Miles (115841 KM) - Manual Transmission\r\n\r\n$9,000.00 OBO \r\n\r\nWe are selling this classic vehicle we’ve owned since 2012 \"As Is\" – my husband traded his Yamaha Motorcycle for the MGB. It’s clean inside and out, very little rust. Was repainted by a previous owner. We’ve put approximately $15,500 into this vehicle since we got it.\r\n\r\nPurchased a custom-made wiring harness for the vehicle and we had Sports Car Parts here in Calgary do the re-wire – more details below but now uses modern fuses.\r\n\r\nIt runs but will need someone engine savvy to keep get it going without using Ether (no engine work done)\r\nIt’s time to let it go, we’ve driven it once since we bought it! Would be a sweet ride for someone for the summer, and a great car to bring to a car show!\r\n\r\nUpgrades that we completed:\r\n2013 Wiring Harness – $900.00 US (can’t find the receipt)\r\n2014 New Complete Interior Package including new foam for the seats (Black) from Moss Motors LTD (USA) - $1,400.00 US (can’t find the receipt)\r\n2014 New Seat Belts assembly from Moss Motors LTD (USA) - $300 US (can’t find the receipt)\r\n2015 Rewire completed by Sports Cart Parts (Calgary) $6,243.65 – (receipt on hand, along with the detailed work performed)\r\n2015 New Floorboards, Switch Lighting, Switch Wiper Wash – from Sports Car Parts (Calgary) $1011.89 – (receipt on hand)\r\n2019 New Sun Visors from Moss Motors LTD (USA) - $76.97 US (receipt on hand)\r\n2019 New Radiator, New Top, from Victoria British Ltd (USA) - $569.90 US (receipt on hand)\r\n2019 New Floor Boards, Left Suspension Caliper Repaired, Brakes Bled and Flushed Installed/Repaired by Screamin Paint Works (Calgary) - $3,000.00 (receipt on hand, along with the detailed work performed)\r\n2020 New Battery purchased/installed from Canadian Tire – $144.89\r\n2020 New Fuel Pump/hose/sealing washer and banjo bolt from Northwest Import Parts (USA) - $302.55 US (receipt on hand).\r\n2020/2021 New Interior that was purchased in 2014 installed along with new fuel pump by a friend who did a fantastic job and had a lot of fun with this little car - $2,000.00 (no receipt, he didn’t want any money but we didn’t want him doing all the work for nothing)\r\nThe top needs some repair on the frame, damaged since we bought it.\r\nRadio needs to be re-installed along with a few odds and sods in the interior\r\n
