Listing Description

1969 MGC GT.  The car has been sitting for some time and will need a total restoration.  have Missouri title with no liens. This is not a quick fix kind of opportunity.  This car will require a thorough restoration  Most parts are available and stocked locally at Victoria British in Lenexa, KS or on the internet at Moss Motors or many other companies. There is extensive body and interior work to be done but the car is worth redeeming because of what it is. Between 1967 and 1969 only 1773 MGC GTs were imported into the USA. Of those, only 484 had automatic transmissions. The car is fairly complete with the only obvious missing items being the aluminum hood (newer fiberglass unit included), brake boosters and fuel pump and wipers.   Engine The engine is complete except for the emission controls that are usually removed anyway.  The engine will turn over with a good battery but the car has not likely been run for some period of time. It will crank with a battery by the turn of the ignition key. Transmission This is an automatic transmission car.  It is fitted with a factory Borg-Warner unit known for its reliability.   have another MGC GT that is an automatic as well.  It is a joy to drive especially on long rallies where constant shifting can get to be a PITA. This car can be manually shifted as well.  There are YouTube videos out there showing this very thing.  Sometimes you feel like a shift. . .and sometimes you don't.  Body The original aluminum hood has been replaced with a fiberglass aftermarket part.  It is in excellent condition and can be used or swapped out for an original. It needs some minor fitting  There has been an amateurish attempt at bodywork so you can expect significant work there.  Lots of bondo evident and probably fiberglass too. You will have to strip it all off and fix it right  The exterior body parts are the same as an MGB GT.Trim: GTDoors: 2
