Listing Description

1939 Packard 1700 series. Last time it was started was like 20 years ago. It was sitting in a barn. Replaced radiator coolant, Oil change, spark plugs, checked the rest of the fluids and oils. Brakes have been gone through. Rebuilt wheel cylinders and rebuilt master cylinder. Converted over to 12volts, 12volt alternator with Petronix Coil and Petronix ignition (so no more points). Electronic fuel pump. Gas tank was removed and sent out to get acid bathed. Cleaned and cleared gas lines and cleaned out the carburetor. Turned it on and started right up. Engine sounds strong. Drove it for about 10 miles shakes a little but then it goes away. Haven't had a chance to check since it's like 115? degrees in Las Vegas so too damn hot lol.. Interior looks great just need to replace headliner and the 2 kickstands on the bottom and in the back by the armrest. Looks like a restoration on the interior was in the process but someone must of lost interest. Also the headlight switch is jammed so won't let me turn on the headlights. Might need replacing. Paint looks to be original, has that lacquer paint that is cracking everywhere. The body is pretty clean with a couple of dings here and there but not to bad. Chrome is still hanging in there. Cruise it just the way it is but not till September or after this summer heat??Doors: 4
