1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe

1948 Plymouth Coupe, Original Special Deluxe. This is a very nice indoor kept rust free original car. So nothing has been covered up. What you see is what you get, no surprises. I have a complete folder of receipts for all the work that was done on the car. In just parts I have Probably close to Nine thousand dollars. The motor has been completely rebuilt by a professional shop. At that time the clutch, water pump, all hoses and belt were done. Radiator was boiled out and flushed. Car has all new plugs, cap, rotor, Ignition wires and I added a Pertronix electronic ignition to replace the points and condenser. (still have all original parts) and high output coil. This gives you a much hotter spark and greater reliability than the points. Also Carb was rebuilt and boiled out. Has a recent Optima battery, Starter gone through with new brushes, New battery cables, Starter solenoid, Generator bearings and brushes, New voltage regulator. The brakes are all new with wheel cylinders. Exhaust is new, Tires are near new. Seriously this car is like new mechanically. Car is a 3sp manual shift on the column. Nice working heater, all lights, gauges, wipers, windows, work as they should. Car starts right up and runs smooth, Runs down the road straight and steers and stops perfect. Again this is an original condition car, the interior is in great shape but does have some sun damage only on the top of the back seat. I was going to have the seats redone but figured the new owner may want something different. So here you have a super reliable Coupe ready for the Cruzin season. You can drive it as is or add you personal touch. These older Coupes are very hard to find in this condition. Especially one that has not been all messed up.
