1947 Studebaker M5

1947 Studebaker M5 truck has been in this family for well over 50 years and has undergone a complete frame off restoration. The body has had all rust repaired with cut and replace sheet metal in all areas. The paint job was completed several years ago with absolutely no signs of any issues. The shine and quality of the paint is a 9 out of 10. The pictures will show the firewall has been worked to be smooth and color matched to truck. Here is a list of items that have been replaced new. Wiring harness (painless) Brake and fuel lines All Glass Window gaskets Interior Seat (frame and upholstery and filler) Bed wood Shocks Brakes (front disc conversion rear drum ) G.M. 350 crate engine 210 H.P less than 1500 miles Turbo 350 transmission (less than 1500 miles) Radiator All hoses and lines Stewart Warner Gauges Flaming River Tilt Column New Firestone Tires Various power coating  Exhaust and headers Alternator and Starter Accessories and all trim. Much more new and in show quality condition that the pictures tell the story. It retains its original leaf spring suspension front and rear with rebuilt king pins and gear box. It drives very nice for the dated steering set up. The rear differential is original to the truck with no issues. The truck can be driven anywhere and will not run over 200 degrees in stop and go traffic with an additional cooling fan. All the gauges work as they should as well as the brake lights, tail lights , blinkers and headlights. Interior lights all are operational.  The truck was completed at Classic Auto Restoration and is being represented for the customer per his request.
