1978 Triumph Spitfire

1978 Triumph Spitfire in excellent shape. 48,099 original miles. This car came out of many years of indoor storage. I have been over every bit of this car and did not find any evidence of rust or collision damage or repair. Had to replace many parts to bring the car to driving condition including... clutch master and slave cylinders, rear wheel cylinders, clean out gas tank, new battery, front calipers and rotors, new front brake pads, oil change, new spark plugs and Lucas wires, flushed out coolant system and installed new water pump. brake and clutch lines all flushed out with new fluid, new convertible top. Car starts, drives and stops great. I\'ve put a lot of miles on it and had nothing but fun. No oil leaks or blue smoke. I did check valve lash and resealed the valve cover. Tires are pretty old and I would recommend new ones. Top is brand new and goes up and down pretty easily. I have the top cover and tonneau cover and both are in great shape. Interior is in pretty decent shape . Trunk trim, spare and jack are all intact. Everything in car works and works well. Lots of fun to drive I\'ve had it up to 73 mph and car managed it just fine. Repair parts are easy to find and also reasonably priced.
