1964 Volkswagen Beetle Bug Volksrod, Rat! all body modifications done in steel and mig welded. Roof removed and body finished off with formed steel and sheet metal. Pan and body square tube reinforced. Rear air intake vents removed added side scoops for cold air inlets. Windshield cut down and angled 15 degrees back. All body trim shaved, Filled dash. Suicide doors with hidden hinges, Bear Claw latches and safety latches. New rear fenders with '39 Ford taillights. Side hinged rear deck lid with GM Hood latch and remote cable release. Recaro custom seats, Grant Billet steering wheel. Camaro steering column with Billet Specialties column drop. American Eagle 15' Empi style wheels, 135's in front.. 195's rear. Front suspension is adjustable beam with KYB shocks and front frame horn relocated 2' upward. Rear spring plates rotated one slpine, KYB gas shocks... ENGINE: 1600cc, 88mm pistons, Mellings high volume oil pump, Bosch 009 dizzy, Bosch coil, Bosch alternator with new fan. 041 heads, 44mm Weber Carb, 110 Engle cam, Faucet electric fuel pump. Trans mounts all poly, new trans nose cone, poly motor mounts Hide away muffler with Megs cast aluminum exhaust tip out flaired fender hole! Pan rust free, body rust free..
