1971 Volkswagen Beetle

1971 Volkswagon Beetle It was fully restored in 1999 and shortly after won the award for '25 & Under' in the annual Ol'Marais River Run - car show. Since the owner joined the navy the car has essentially sat for 12 years. This has lead to some serious heat warping of the door panels. Aside from a few minor rust spots and a dent high on the driver side rear fender the car is in remarkable body and mechanical condition. After a new battery and fuel pump was installed around a year ago, it only needed a charge to start at the quick turn of the key. This car does not have a/c. It constantly blows warm air from the engine though, so it's plenty toasty in winter. The summers prove a sweaty ride. This Beetle has so much class. After cleaning it up from sitting, it was taken for a lengthy ride.Doors: 2
