1974 Volkswagen Beetle

1974 Volkswagen Beetle 63K, AC and Freeway Flier 4-Speed This Beetle, with Original Purchase Paperwork, owners manual, ID card/documentation was purchased at the Clarence Talley Dealership in Dallas, TX on 12/29/1973. It has been between TX and OK since. Last owner since 2002. Went thru a pretty thorough maintenance visit in 2016 for the following – Tune Up with Plugs and new plug wires, ignition switch, new carb, new muffler/exhaust, Fuel Sending unit, Tie Rod ends, all wheel cylinders, gearshift bushing, rear mounts and Rebuilt the Freeway Flyer Transmission. Great looking wheels I just polished out and I just put 4 brand new Road Huggers on it(Discount Tires Private label made by Kumho) - 195x65x15’s on 8/5/21 with 65,723. It does what appears to me to be Factory A/C but the vents do look a bit different than I have seen on others online. Planning on recharging the AC this week, still R12 but it does kick in and blower motor works as well. It has an aftermarket AM/FM Stereo with Aux, and 2 speaker boxes tucked up under the dash. Car sounds fantastic, drives and stops straight with no issues. Wipers work, horn works, turn signals work out/in dash too. So much original all around the car and in fantastic shape. This is NOT a rust car, come see and pull the carpets back, look at the undercarriage and floor pans and you’ll see minimal surface rust in limited areas, and nothing on a majority of all the others. I have a pic of passenger lower rear fender that is a paint chip, not rust. Paint is about a 7-8 with some flaws once you get to 2-3 feet away but a majority overall, looks great. Good chrome, just replace front bumper trim as it was missing when I got it.
