1973 Volkswagen Thing Like the Jeep, the VW Thing was first designed for the (German) military to use as a commuter/utility vehicle. It has the tried and true air-cooled VW engine, as well a gas heater, which is believed to be from a newer model. Many things have been replaced with new parts in the last year, that have brought it to it\'s present condition including, - New Brake Cylinder, and shoes - New Axle Dust Covers - New Tie-Rod Ends All consumables are in good condition, and apart from the fuel gauge, it needs nothing.
