1974 Volkswagen Thing

1974 Volkswagen Thing. These cars were only imported to the United States for two years, 1973 and 1974. This particular car has had an old 'restoration' done on it. I am not sure when it was done. This is a solid car when talking about rust. There is a couple holes here and there as to be expected. The car runs, drives, and stops very well. Engine is a 1600CC dual port motor with good power. The top is not a perfect fit because it is an aftermarket top. Interior has all new carpet and new seat upholstery. This thing is an awesome summer cruiser. You can take the top off and fold down the windshield and it is basically like riding in a bath tub with wheels.
