1957 Chevrolet 210 350 Automatic Perhaps you are in the market for a 2 door ’57 and you find that they are a bit out of reach financially. Or – maybe you’re just looking for a 4 door with a little attitude! Either way, maybe this one could be for you. Please look at the photos, but also please take them with a grain of salt. The paint/chrome/cosmetics have plenty of flaws due to age and such. This one is perfectly imperfect. This is more for the buyer that wants a cool looking reliable driver to drive to the cruise-ins or take out for some special occasion. Personally, I’d drive it to any of the car shows, but I want to make this clear of what the car is. Details and what’s good: This one has a very strong 350/383ci V8 with a mild cam. Not too radical, but it is very fast. The car will chirp tires when shifting to 2nd if you get on it a little. I was told it was a 383, but it could be a 350. Either way it is a great running engine. It has a rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission. The car drives straight down the road and stops well. No odd noises, vibrations, or extra play in the steering. It does not run hot in traffic. Working lights, blinkers, wipers, under dash gauges added, new Mooneyes tachometer. It has good floors, braces, trunk floor – especially compared to others. Very good glass all around. It has a new trunk mat, new taillight lenses, parking lenses, side mirrors, correct license plate frame, trunk script, and trunk vee. Also has new wheels and tires. A complete detail was recently done inside and out with 2 coats of Meguiars wax. Additional details and what it could use: Paint is old and has plenty of flaws, but still shines and looks good from 20 feet away. I would have no plans to paint it. Chrome is mostly original/older and has age related flaws. Tag light doesn’t work, but there is a new one included with the car. Speedometer needs a cable, but there is one included with the car.
