Listing Description

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. 4 Door / post. Original 283 V8 engine, original 2 barrel carburetor, original Powerglide 2-spd transmission. Clean Title It's in REALLY good condition.Car was restored by the original owner in 1982(ish) and put in indoor storage since we bought it in 2012, where it sat in our garage for the last 4 years. To the best of my knowledge, it's always been a garage kept car. This is a perfect restoration candidate as it has very little rust and only one small dent in the front right fender. It's very clean all around. the dash is in REALLY great shape. The doors open and close perfectly (ZERO sagging), they can be closed solidly with one finger. All windows work perfectly (smoking windows, regular windows, etc.). We have the original jack in the trunk too. I've done a good amount of body work to it already. There are a few small areas of rust, but is an otherwise REALLY GOOD condition car. The engine turns over with no problem, brakes work perfectly, etc. Even the clock in the dash still works! Oh, and I have the original owner's manual for it too. I started the restoration about 4 years ago, but frankly have too many vehicles to work on. What I've done already: 1) Replaced the front left headlight bucket 2) Repaired rust area above front right headlight 3) Repaired 15-20 small dings and scratches 4) Replaced rear-left floor board (only major rust in the whole car) What's wrong with it (full transparency): The remaining rust areas are in the usual spots and are about the size of a quarter to 1/2 dollar in size (left & right fender, behind the wheels, left and right rocker panels just in front of the rear wheels). The car has a small dent in the right front quarter panel. The front left driver's window is cracked. Comes with shop brand new reproduction manuals. Also replaced the clock face lens, dome light housing, glove box light, and a few other things. As you can see, I have EVERY original trim piece, emblem, chrome part, etc.Doors: 4
