Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1957 Chevy Bel Air Resto Mod You are looking at the most popular and beautiful of the Tri-Five cars. This two-tone black and titanium metallic 1957 Chevrolet 2 door coupe has undergone a complete frame off restoration utilizing new and professionally rebuilt parts. The power train consists of a 1990 L98 Corvette carbureted engine to keep it looking old school. It is not a race car, but performs well on the street. A rebuilt 700R4 transfers power to a 3:73 rear differential and 4-wheel disc brakes provide stopping power. Steering is by rack and pinion and suspension has tubular A arms with adjustable coil overs in front, leaf springs, and air shocks in the rear. Wheels are 18†Riddlers on Kumho high performance tires. In the interior you will see a custom gauge cluster with very visible and easy to read RPM and tach gauges, along with fuel, temp, oil, and battery gauges located under the heater and AC controls. The rest of the interior is factory repop by Cars, Inc to keep the ’57 looking like a ’57. Power windows are added for convenience. There is much more to it than meets the eye.
