1968 Chevrolet Camaro
Vehicle Details
Listing Description
1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS I purchased this in Dallas about 2 years ago. It was originally an Island Teal on Green interior V8 California car, built first week of July 1968. I like to think on July 4th just because it is a beautiful piece of American Muscle. It is now candy white with orange stripes. It has a GM Goodwrench crate motor, lumpy cam, Brodix aluminum heads, roller rockers, gapped intake, and a 650 Carb. Long tube headers to an all new Magnaflow Exhaust. It is (somewhat) quiet to cruise at low RPM but get on it and it opens up. Changed the car over from a three speed to a four speed overdrive 700R4. This really woke the car up and it puts some serious power to the ground. The rear end is a 12 bolt with 4.11 gears. Rear brakes are a wilwood disc conversion and the front is a standard disc, all rotors are drilled and slotted. Power steering and Power Brakes. No heat, no AC, just a straight runner. There are a few paint blemishes and there were some contaminants under the paint that are causing some slight issues, you can't tell unless you are looking for it. The interior is a white vinyl with black houndstooth. The car is an original looking completely non original car. Everything is polished on this car from the engine to the polished stainless steel gas tank. I will be changing out the stereo in the vehicle shortly since the head unit has no face on it and I can't find it anywhere, it only has 2 speakers under the dash. I do currently have a out on the vehicle but can have the title within 2 weeks of payoff.Trim: RSDoors: 2
