Listing Description

1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible PACE CAR SS/RS.. Numbers matching engine manual Muncie 4 speed transmission and 12 bolt rear differential. This is not a tribute but in fact the real deal. This is as it rolled off the assembly line in 1969. We have spent the last few months going bumper to bumper to check and test everything is working correctly, verifying vin numbers and firewall build tag. Our 1969 Camaro Pace car model sports the 350 SS engine and Muncie 4 speed manual transmission. Cowl induction hood which is functional. Proper RS headlights which also function, Power steering and power brakes. Disc brakes up front and drum in the rear. This particular car was one of only about 500 produced in the los Angeles assembly plant. This can only be original once and although some parts do show some wear and discoloring it is as it rolled off the assembly line with 66,000 miles on the odometer. We have gone through this car bumper to bumper and fixed small items that did not function. We repaired or replaced pieces to maintain function of its originality. Replaced the battery cables to the correct ones it would have had in 1969. We did not replace the radio to factory as it is a nice two knob correct looking radio with AM/FM Cassette. The convertible top is reasonable and does not leak. It is a power top and goes up and down flawlessly. The interior is brand new GM restoration interior with all new seat upholstery and new door panels. The interior was just completed a few days ago and of course looks like a factory new original as it did in 1969. All gauges work as they should and indicate oil, fuel, temp and alternator at least as well as they did when the car was new. We did replace the factory radiator and will include it with the car. All wear items and rubber items have been repaired or replaced as you would expect on a 50 year old car. Carburetor was replaced with a correct matching carburetor.Trim: RS/SS ConvertibleDoors: 2
