1969 Chevrolet Chevelle The Chevelle has been completely restored with a top quality restoration. The Chevelle is original and was in exceptional condition prior to the restoration. The body was rust free and clean with no damage. The Chevelle retained all of its original body panels (original hood comes with the car). It was taken down to bare metal and the body and paint is the highest quality one can ask for (receipts come with the car). The paint is solid black with a mirror finish. The Chevelle started life off as a 350 Chevelle Malibu and retains its original drive train with the original 12 bolt rear end. The Chevelle was a highly optioned Chevelle, though this is not a SS it was ordered with almost every option available and includes the “fiber optic vigilite lamp monitoring system”. Original AC car and during the restoration Vintage Air AC was installed and blows ice cold. The Chevelle’s interior has been completely restored with originality. The front seats have heating elements that were installed prior to upholstery and are heated (original looks with modern creature comforts). The Chevelle was undercoated for additional insulation underneath. The inside was stripped and also sprayed with modern sound deadening. The insulation didn’t stop there, the roof was dynamited, interior doors and fenders were also layered with sound deadening. As a result the Chevelle has a very quite ride and stays very cool inside. The car has been under restoration for around 8 years and is just being finished. This car was built with intentions of never being sold and every process of the restoration was done with highest standards. I have driven the car for several test drives and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. The Chevelle has approximately 250 miles on it since completion. This Chevelle is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
