1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible/Roadster 427ci/425hp L72 matching numbers, factory side pipes, knock off wheels, Nassau Blue, show condition. The car is immaculate, runs perfectly and needs nothing. Original radio, clock, wipers, everything in working order. NCRS shipping data report shows the car came off the assembly line January 17, 1966 and shipped to Mason Chevrolet in Chico, Ca. Engine block (Casting date L145, assembly date T0106IP, Vin stamp 6111135), Muncie 4 speed transmission (Casting 3885010, Vin stamp 6111135), alternator, steering box, carburetor & starter all recently rebuilt by corvette specialists and original to car. New battery, radial tires, brakes, and 'correct' spark plug wires. can supply VIN codes, casting numbers etc., on all major components upon request. Original owner's manual signed by Zora Duntov in 1989. NCRS Regional Top flight in Oregon 1989 -- have judging sheets. have a 2 inch binder with all receipts from previous owners and myself. The car has a very interesting history, have documented in the binder. Engine was rebuilt the first time in 1987 when the Odometer read 26,000 miles according to the owner at that time. The odometer was then (sadly) reset to zero. purchased the car in March 2011 and the odometer read 2607. The engine was rebuilt in September 2014 by Martin Engine Machine in Webster, NY, and the odometer was NOT reset. It now reads 5422 with less than 500 miles since the rebuild. Dyno test shows 417hp at 5000rpm. Stored in heated, humidity controlled garage. A beautiful car which requires nothing.Trim: Stingray ConvertibleDoors: 2
