Listing Description
1965 Chevrolet Impala two door hardtop Super Sport clone. Frame off restoration. All super sport equipment present and installed to factory specifics. Only way you could tell it was a 2 dr hardtop Impala is by the VIN codes. Car has original 327/300hp engine. Rebuilt by Ron Hopp at EagleMotor works in Elmwood Ne. Awesome thumper 'lumpy' sound, new headers with short ' Purple Nurple' pipes. Has less then 500 miles on rebuilt engine. Car had about 68,000 miles on it when I pulled it out of a barn off an acreage where it sat for many years. Have owned the car for about 10 years. Underneath very clean, ( 2 year frame off restoration ended in 2008) sand blasted and painted frame and underneath body, solid floors, solid frame, new OEM factory trunk pans installed with 'speckle ' paint. Has rare factory tachometer. Engine has lots of goodies, such as Roller Rockers , Competition'Thumper' Cam, Edlebrock 4 barrel carb, intake, etc etc etc. Original 2 spd Powerglide Transmission ( gone through) w/ 2500 rpm stall converter. Too much new or re built to list here. Body in very nice shape. In old flat black sealer ( Hot Rod Black), black interior w/ bucket seats ,automatic on floor, center console. 400 dollar stereo system professionally installed under the dash by Autosounds of Lincoln. Classic 5 slot mags with brand new BF Goodrich white letter tires (not on car in photos) . Brand new set of 4 factory wheel well trim recently bought and installed ( not on car in ad pictures) Dual rear ' rabbit ear' antennas. Car turns alot of heads and gets tons of compliments whenever I take it out. Has won many trophies.Trim: SSDoors: 2
