1979 Chevrolet Malibu Landau 350 eng.- 350 turbo transmission - 373 Posi differential - power steering – power brakes. Car was bought new at Ware Chevrolet in Blairsville, GA in 1979 – see window sticker. I have all the manuals and a build sheet. The drivetrain of car has less than 1000 miles on it since build. Fun to drive and a head turner. Body is straight and solid. 350 engine – ’96 Chevy truck vortex block – bored .040 over – new pistons, rings, stock rods reconditioned with new bearings top and bottom (mother thumper cam with all new cam bearings) All new roller rockers – push rods and lifters. The heads are 1970 Camaro Z28 with big valves, intake is the same vintage. New 700 Holley carb. – new Hooker headers and 3 in. flow masters with turn downs at rear – New H.D. Power house starter – New heavy duty H.D. water pump – new alternator – new power steering pump – new distributor – and harmonic balancer. 4” Aluminum Griffin radiator with multi-blade constant turn fan. 160-degree thermostat. Runs cool in traffic. 350 turbo transmission – new HD flex plate (it is welded on both sides of gear ring) – Hughes “2700 stall torque convertor” - Has shift kit, extra clutches with new front pump and all internals. Transmission is shifted automatically or “slap shift” with “quicksilver shifter” – can’t miss a gear and over rev engine. 373 Posi. differential – all new gear Posi unit – carrier bearings – axel bearings and seals – new drums, brakes, wheel cylinders. Front brakes have new calipers, rotors, brake pads, rubber break hoses, rotor bearings and seals. New power brake booster and master cylinder.
